Day 25 Military Challenge

30 Day Military Challenge - Day 25: Post a picture or tell about your favorite moment or experience you have had with the military.


I am trying to think about a favorite moment or experience I've had with the military and honestly, I cannot think of one that stands out. I guess, I never really had that particular moment yet besides homecomings after deployment or military balls. I could say that a favorite moment I had that has to deal with the military (sort of) is moving across country with Matt. We drove ourselves from North Carolina to California in a weeks time. We took our time, stopped at every state sign and went out to dinners, movies, museums, nice hotels, and casinos. We also stopped to visit family along the way since we traveled through Christmas.

That memory always sticks out from all the others. It was such a fun time. Even though sometimes the driving would be boring and Matt and I eventually got on each others nerves from sitting in the truck day in and day out, but it still was a great time. Plus, we got reimbursed from all of our traveling expenses!
