In Your Home

I can help take care of you! Because I am now officially a Home Health Aide. I got my certification in the mail yesterday.

So that makes me a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and a Home Health Aide (HHA).  I love having so many certificates, but my next big goal is just getting my BSN in Nursing to become an RN.  It might take me a few years, but I will get there!

  1. I was thinking about getting my RN, but I would want to do the BSN as well and having gotten my AA in business I think it would be like starting all over. So I'm looking into Physician assistant programs. Where I can just go back for general studies and take prerequisites and then take the 2 year PA program. You should look into that if you haven't. You'd have more experience then needed by the time you got to the PA application process and it's about the same amount of school if you have to start over for prereqs.

    1. Yea, I do have quite a few prereq. left but not as many due to me already taking some the past 2 semesters. I may have half a year or a full year left. Not too sure so I do need to talk to a counselor to see how far away I am. I thought about going into that program, we will see what happens in the future, but I think I still will become an RN. But good luck with being a PA.

  2. Congratulations! The long hours of studying paid off. Those who are honest, true to themselves and respect others will always be rewarded. You own those qualities and will be rewarded 1000 times more. Love Dad

    1. Thanks dad. Yes, studying does pay off! A lot of it, but worth it in the end.
