Last month before Matt and I went on our very belated honeymoon (post to come soon), we went to the fairgrounds to see the horse races. This was my first time going to see the horse races, but definitely not the hubby's. He grew up going to them with his family. I was introduced to dog races a couple years from him and I thought that was fun so I know I would enjoy the horses.
The fairgrounds is in San Diego/Del Mar. The reason for my post title is from their commercial due to the fact the beach is basically right across the way from the track. Nice, huh?
Anyways, we had a good time - didn't win much, but that's quite alright because it was purely entertainment for a few hours
